One app for your official documents and the credentials you collect, under your control.
Store the person identification data (PID) a trusted issuer gives you.
Keep your mDL (ISO/IEC 18013-5) on your phone and show it in person.
Membership cards, a health insurance card (EHIC) and other attestations, as issuers offer them.
Share only what is needed, for example just “over 18” instead of your date of birth.
Online by OpenID4VP; in person by QR code, NFC or Bluetooth.
Check someone else’s digital ID, mDL or just “over 18” in person: scan the QR code in their wallet and receive the data over Bluetooth. You see whether it is genuine, unchanged, valid, not revoked and from a trusted issuer. Nothing is stored.
Sign documents with a remote signing service (CSC v2), confirmed in the wallet. The signature level is that of the signing service: qualified with a qualified trust service provider; CodeB’s own signing service creates advanced electronic signatures.
Request your PID or mDL from an issuer via OpenID4VCI. You choose your issuers in Settings.
The credential is stored on your device. Its keys sit in the Android hardware-backed keystore, and the wallet is locked with your PIN or biometrics.
In person by QR code, NFC or Bluetooth (ISO/IEC 18013-5), or online via OpenID4VP.
Before anything leaves your phone, you see who is asking and why, and approve only the attributes you choose.
Credential keys live in the Android hardware-backed keystore and cannot be copied out.
The wallet is protected by a PIN and, if you like, by biometrics.
Issuers are checked against ETSI trusted lists before a credential is accepted.
The wallet checks whether a credential has been revoked.
Your credentials are on your phone, not in a CodeB cloud.
You share only the attributes a service asks for and you approve.

Yes. With “Verify a document” you choose what you need, for example only “over 18”, and scan the QR code in the other person’s wallet. After they agree, the data arrives over Bluetooth. The app checks the issuer’s signature against trusted certificates, that the data is unchanged and belongs to the presenting phone, the validity period and the revocation status. The data is deleted when you close the result.
